A long walk with vertiginous passages & steep downhills , make sure you bring poles!
We’ll take the cable car from Verbier up to 2192m where we will start our walk to the crystal alpine Lac Louvie. On the way we can admire the irrigation channel built in the mid 15th century and the granite sheep-sheds – all this was done before helicopters, gore-tex or hot showers! Then we’ll take the steep downhill path to Fionnay where we catch the bus back to Verbier.
