medium-hard difficulty
A 42.5km long tour for fit hikers (ability to walk up to 8hrs a day with pack) who do not suffer from vertigo!

DAY I
Vérossaz/La Doey (920m) – Auberge de Salanfe (1940m)
This 3 day tour (note that we can also do it in 4 days) around the 7 fingers of the Dents du Midi starts with a walk above the Rhône Valley. Soon enough the excitement begins as we enter the St.Barthélemy Torrent ravine under the eye of the Cime de l’Est (3178m). We then climb to the Col du Jorat, the culminating point of our day at 2212m. Finally we descend to the sides of the breathtaking Lac de Salanfe where we will spend the night.

DAY II
Auberge de Salanfe (1940m) – Cabane d’Antème (2032m)
This is the tough day; we start by climbing up the vertiginous path to the Col de Susanfe, 2494m. Cables and steps have been cut into the rock to make the walk easier down to the Pas d’Encels. A splendid view of the resort of Champèry opens up to us here. We then pass below the Northwest flank of the Dents du Midi to the cabane nestling in the rock face by the Antème lakes.
